Maheshbabu new movie to go to sets on Aug 4

After a stupendous hit like ‘Pokiri’, Maheshbabu tasted successive failures with films like ‘Sainikudu’ and ‘Atithi’. Unable to digest the failures, the Prince had decided to take a considerable gap to sign the dotted line for his next movie. It is well aware that the puja activities for his next film to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Singanamala Ramesh on the banner of Kanakaratna Movies were held long ago. Now, the story for the film was finalised recently. It is learnt that the producer is making arrangements for the launch of the regular shooting of the film from August 4. After the miserable failure of ‘Atithi’ Maheshbabu kept himself off from the media and now he is getting ready to go to the sets directly.

The combination of Maheshbabu and Trivikram was proved a big hit with the success of ‘Athadu’. Hence there were lots of expectations on their forthcoming film and the director committed to give another blockbuster with Maheshbabu in the same style. He reportedly prepared a very good subject for his project. As per indications, the film will have less action and more entertainment. Reliable sources say that Parvati Melton was selected as one of the heroines. However, the unit is yet to select the main heroine.

'Baladoor' Audio on 31st July

RaviTeja and Anushka in the lead, with Super Star Krishna in a special role, 'Baladoor' – Veediki badhyathalekkuva, is presented by Dr. Rama Naidu, on 'Suresh Productions Pvt Ltd banner.

Producer Suresh Babu informed that the audio will be released on 31st of July, through Aditya Music.

There are six songs in all with the music composed by Radha Krishnan. This is the first Telugu film to shoot a song sequence at Uzbekistan. The remaining 5 songs are filmed at Austria & Germany. Preparations are on to release the movie in August.

Uday Bahaskar who has earlier directed the movie 'Kalisundam Ra' for Suresh Productions banner hoped that the title is close to Ravi Teja's film image, and is a family entertainer.

Rajni's "Kathanayakudu" promos out

But for now with what we see on the screens it is the very name of Rajinikanth that spells magic in the country and the actor with his larger than life image only seems to be scaling newer heights.

Will Trisha be on time for Gautham Menon?

Trisha may very busy in Tollywood but when it is time to smear the greasepaint for a Tamil film she is all ready. During the last week of July, its director Gautham Menon is also gearing up to complete Chennayil Oru Mazhai Kaalam, which he had left halfway through to accommodate Surya. Nisha Kothari making inroads in Tollywood

Once upon a time Nisha Kothari was more famous as Ram Gopal Varma’s discovery, but now she’s making inroads in Tollywood. Her first Telugu flick to hit the screens was the Balakrishna starrer Okka Magadu, since then she’s appeared in a string of spiced up glamour roles. Now her new movie Hari Om starring new-comer Sekhar, along with Madhu Sharma, is in brisk progress. She has also replaced the actress Malavika in Samrajyam, being filmed in Tamil as Karthigai, due to Malavika’s pregnancy.

Known as Amoha in Kollywood, this spicy hot bombshell is called Nisha across the border in Tollywood. Actually, she’s was born Priyanka Kothari and says that she wants to be known by her original name. But then it’s a bit late for that now Amoha/Nisha. But ‘A rose is a rose by any other name.’

Shankar and Rajni are happy woth Robot

Rajinikanth and director Shankar have been very busy over the past few weeks with the groundwork for Robot set rolling. The duo have completed about three photo sessions thus far – one in Mumbai and two in Chennai.

It seems that Shankar is quite satisfied with the outcome but the final decision on Rajini's get-up in Robot is yet to be decided.

Meanwhile, Rajini and Shankar will fly down to Mumbai in a few days time for the fourth photo session. Interestingly, this photo shoot session will have Aishwarya Rai also participating in it. Sources say that Shankar is taking extra care about Rajini's looks in Robot as his role happens to be that of a young scientist.
