Story

Chandram (Srikanth) is an honest man and a devoted husband to Kalyani (Meera). His life takes a turn when he discovers that Kalyani has a rare disease and he has to get money. A sequence of events compels him to act as husband to Ramya (Sada) who is thought dead. However, Ramya comes back alive and now Chandram is caught between both women. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Artists Performance:

Srikanth : Srikanth has come up with his performance as usual and he has done these several times before so nothing new from his end. However, his presence on posters after ‘Mahatma’ would add as a crowd puller to the theatre.

Meera Jasmine : She looks cute as usual and will appeal to the lady audience. However, she must try not to come up with western outfits in song sequences and that too figure hugging ones. It just doesn’t go with her.

Sada : She is sexy and makes up for the glamour quotient in a large way. Despite wearing regular outfits, she still has that oomph in her. Performance wise, she did justice to her role.

Tanikella was standard, Sunil gave good laughs, Brahmanandam was okay, Ali was hilarious, Kovai Sarala was loud, Raghu Babu was a bit annoying, Krishna Bhagawan was witty and funny as well, M S was good, the others did as required.

Final Analysis:

The film has got every possible comedian in the Tollywood circuit but then the director has not been able to create a laugh riot out of it. The main drawback was the stale storyline which would have fitted the 80s time.

Also, the title conveys a comedy film but there is a strong dose of sentiment and melodrama which downs the enthusiasm. There is not much depth to the characters due to the weak script and there are not many moments when the audience can connect to the film.

There are few sparks of comedy here and there but overall, the film is not that appealing due to the tasteless flavor of the storyline. Except for Sada’s glamour, Sunil and Ali’s comedy, there is not much one can enjoy in this flick.

Michael Madana Kamaraju Review

Michael Madana Kamaraju- review
Cast: Srikanth, Prabhu deva, Sunil, Brahmanandham, Kota, Charmy, Asha saini, Kovai Sarala and others.
Music: Chakri
Direction: Nidhi Prasad
The film as expected is a comedy filled film. But the ‘hilarious’ word are not apt for this dry comedy subject. As usual a bunch of jokers try to ignite some laugh in the faces of the audience, but succeed only to some extent. The comedy track is well plotted, but looses its interestingly carved subject in the kji9ddle and ends up as an idiotic comedy film.
Story
Madan (Srikanth) and Kamaraju (Sunil) are cousins and their parents reside in USA. Don’t know how they mage to get there. The hero Madan owns an Ad agency and he successfully runs it. Kamaraju is crazy about girls and manages to linger around them with his pot shaped belly. Meanwhile, Madan has a different opinion on the ladies. He believes that love and romance are ladders to fulfill desires and nothing else exists more in it. And the physical attraction is just an infatuation created by the mind for the body. The two heroes go on a Goa trip for a holiday and there Madan happens to met stunning beauty Charmy. Charmy is a dress designer by profession and wins the first prize in the dress designing competition in which Madan happens to be one of the judges. Madan personally meets Charmy and from then on they both become friends. Charmy also fetches a job as a creative head in Madan’s ad agency.Meanwhile Kamaraju is bowled by the beauty of Asha Saini in Goa and accompanies her to Hyderabad. James (brahmanadham) is behind the hero Madan with a gun in his hand and tries to kill Madan because he lured his wife and runs with her.Meanwhile Madan’s love towards Charmy erupts and soon he is in neck deep love with the beauty. However Kamaraju is ignorant about the whole development and plays a trick and prints a weeding card which has Charmy and another man Michael (Prabhu Deva) as the bride and the bridegroom.Madan thinks that the wedding card is true and bargains Michael for a mere 5 lakh rupees to end his engagement with Charmy. But Michael is a witty guy. He tries to trap Charmy and marries her for the sake of her father’s money. Charmy’s father is Nagababu who owns around 100 crores property.
The rest of the story is how Madan and Kamaraju succeed in flop the plots of the Michael and how they succeed in uniting with their respective beloved.
Performances
Srikanth as usual has given his 100% to the film and it appears that he is doing every film which comes his way for the sake of money.Charmy is the main highlight of the film. She with her revealing dresses appears to show something extra to the audience. Her bosom is literally visible in each and every costume she wears and truly speaking her heavy and juicy bosom is a delight to see for the mass crowds.Sunil’s performance is up to the mark. But looks foolish in some scenes. But still he lacks some luster in the film.Prabhu deva comes in a cameo role and breathes his character of Michael some life.Brahmanandham is extra ordinary. He mimics the James bond character and succeeds to s a little extent. But his mimicry oozes out some comedy in the audience faces.Kovai Sarala has justified her small character role and manages to come up with some comedy track.Kota Srinivas Rao as a studio owner has doe his part neatly. And the rest of the comedy track bandwagon which includes Venu Madhav, Ali, Abhinayasri and Kondalavalsa has managed to bring some laughter. The music by Chakri is below average and creates a doubt that is it composed by Chakri himself. There is not much to say about the film as it is filled with numerous characters and as a result the director gets confused in the middle and succeeds in confusing the audience. On the whole this film is going to run only for a couple of weeks.
