With a hectic December with two releases, King in Telugu and Abiyum Naanum in Tamil, she could not take break in december and now the actress has decided to give a break and is currently in Gold Coast, Brisbane in Australia. She will be chilling out for the rest of the month and will return to India on January 30. Hope trisha had some good time at brisbane with her friends.

The film is all set to hit the screens tomorrow and now there is an update that has just arrived and this has soared the temperatures even further. If news is to be believed then the film's last thirty minutes are going to be really exciting and director Vytla has come out with a very spellbinding climax. It is heard that Nag has been seen in a never before performance for the climax and basically, the ending will be positive just like any other Vytla movies.Nag is pairing up with the petite beauty Trisha and there are about three roles that he would be seen in. The other highlight apart from the second half is the special song featuring eight beautiful heroines and having seen the stills, it must be said that the number seems to be worth every penny.

Trisha may very busy in Tollywood but when it is time to smear the greasepaint for a Tamil film she is all ready. Trisha teaches lesson to prakash raj

Prakash Raj was banned from Tollywood for troubling the producer by absenting for shoot schedules and coming late to the shooting spot etc...

Now he is the producer in Tamil and making films on Duet Movies banner. Now Prakash Raj said to have faced the similar problem from heroine Trisha for his film.

Trisha is doing a film for Prakash Raj and he wanted extra call sheet from Trisha to film a song, but Trisha rejected Prakash Raj saying that she has no dates. Prakash Raj approached film chamber, but there was no use. Finally Prakash Raj sat with Trisha and sorted out the problem.

Praksh Raj must be remembering his days of troubling producers?

Prabhas dialogue getting huge response

Prabhas's latest release Bujjigadu-Made in Chennai may have opened to mixed responses from the BO but the actor has recieved rave reviews for his performance. Surprisingly it's not a stunt sequence or a song that is getting the biggest cheer from the frontbenchers, but the scenes where the actor mouths the stock dialogue Darling... n the film. The line has a little story behind it. Apparently the hunky actor addresses his closest friends as Darling and the director Puri Jagannath incorporated it in the film. As they say reality is the inspiration for all imagination.

Top 5 movies this week

The release of Bujjigadu and Pandurangadu in the space of one week has improved the box office collections considerably. The week on the whole was okay and the coming weeks also look promising in terms of box office collections.

1. Pandurangadu:The film opened on a rather dull note with little hype and poor pre-release publicity. But Balakrishna's brilliant performance, particularly in the second half and his role as lord Krishna are a big draw. The added glamour of Sneha and Tabu and some good music by Keeravani make the film worth watching.

2. Bujjigadu:Bujjigadu made in Chennai opened to a lot of hype and expectations. Prabhas was desperately looking for a big hit. The film's big draw are Prabhas, Puri, Mohan Babu and of course Trisha. Prabhas looks good in his new style and he has also done a great job in the fights and dances.

3. Kantri:NTR's Kanthri has everything new looks for in a NTR film. Director Meher Ramesh unveiled a new look NTR in the film. The action of NTR, Hansika Motwani's charms and Prakash Raj's villainy are the main highlights of the film. It sits in position-3 of the toppers list.

4. Parugu:The Dil Raju and Bommarillu Bhaskar film 'Parugu' starring Allu Arjun and Sheela in the lead roles opened to some mixed talk but slowly picked up. The box office collections are dipping and the film is slowly running out of steam. It sits in position-4 as of now.

5. Jalsa:The Pawan Kalyan starrer Jalsa has completed 50 days run and is running with just average box office collections. The film however broke box office records by collecting 21 crore in the first two weeks of its release. The film now stands at the fifth place.

I’m closest to Reema and Shriya says Trisha

Her innocent smile, natural charm and trendy style has worked magic with the audiences for the last seven years. "My life’s just beginning.
When I started out, I said that for the first few years I’d have fun here. But now, I’m seriously considering acting as a profession. I aim to be successful, famous and a good actor and I’m pretty charged about it," she says.
Trisha means success in Russian; she is probably the only heroine after Sridevi to be successful in Tamil and Telugu. She has withstood pressures, controversies, competition and emerged on top due to her hard work and commitment. This year’s two big summer releases in Tamil (Kuruvi) and Telugu (Bujjigadu - Made in Chennai) featured her in the female lead. In the ad world, she is the hottest model and is brand ambassador for half a dozen consumer items.
Trisha, or Trash as she is affectionately known among her friends, is a big-budget survivor in an industry where top heroines burn out in two years. She came into films after being crowned Miss Chennai and made her debut as heroine in Lesa Lesa. This was followed by a string of superhits like Saamy, Ghillli, Tirupachi and Unakkum Enakkum. She tasted bigger success in Telugu with blockbusters like Nuvvostante Nenoddantana, Varsham, Athudu, Aadavari Matalaku Andhalu Verule, Krishna and other films. Till date, the lass has acted in 28 films- 18 in Tamil and 10 in Telugu.
Her winsome smile, sharp features and an hour-glass figure are her strengths that have taken her to the masses. Trisha is probably the only Tamil girl who has made it big in the last 10 years in an industry full of North Indian and Malayalee girls. Quiz her about her success and survival instincts, the actress shoots back- "It’s a lot of hard work and a bit of luck; one has to be at the right place at the right time." Her hit ratio in Telugu seems far better (75 percent) than in Tamil (50 percent). "I cannot understand why my Telugu films do better than my Tamil ones. It may be because the roles I do in Telugu gave me a lot more scope to perform and they never wasted me. I think Tamil cinema is too hero-centric," says the actress who has won two Filmfare and two State awards for her roles in Telugu films.
She is one actress who loves to experiment with her looks and goes for styling at regular intervals. When she experiments, it generates a lot of attention. When she had a Nemo fish tattoo done just below her left shoulder, it was news. And now, it is the Swarovski crystal on her teeth that is making news.Trisha says that she has no regrets about doing some films which turned out to be bad at the end. "I don’t regret any movie that I have done. I sign a film more on my gut feeling and sometimes at the end of it, they may not work," she adds.
Trisha is currently working on director Gautham Menon’s Chennayil Oru Mazhaikalam with a bunch of newcomers. She enthuses: "To me, the main attraction of the film was working with Gautham". She informs us that her role in the film is something that she has never attempted before. She is also working on a film titled Sarwam directed by Vishnuvardhan of Billa fame and a film with Radhamohan (titled Abhiyum Nanum) of Mozhi fame.
Controversies have chased this actress at regular intervals. If it was the MMS clips a few years ago, it was her road rage on the ECR and frequent partying that were talked about. But of late, the actress has been keeping an extremely low profile and keeping away from the press. "Controversies are part of stardom but the press tries to blow it out of proportion. At the end of the day, it is my work in films that should speak," she says. About partying, she asks, "What’s wrong in partying? I am a young and independent girl and have never denied that I have a lot of friends with whom I am comfortable. After a hard day’s shoot, I need to unwind and be relaxed. I don’t see anything wrong in it and it’s my private life".
Quiz her about competition and she frowns: "It’s a rat race out here. A new girl comes to the industry every other day. The moment you trip, there’s someone ready to take your place and there’s no room for error". About her recent fall out with Nayanthara, the actress says that she has no issues with anyone. "She has never been my close buddy though we hung around together. I’m closest to Reema and Shriya as we bond well. But, we don’t discuss work. After all, it takes two to tango!"

Bujjigadu (made in Chennai)-review

Punchline: bujjigadi love story

Genre: Love/Action

Type: Straight

Banner: Creative Commercials
Cast: Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Trisha, Sanjana, Sunil, Kota, Subbaraju, MS Narayana, Ali, Satyam Rajesh, Hema, Jeeva, Kadambari Kiran, Srilatha, Brahmaji etc
Music: Sandeep Chowta

Cinematography: Shyam K Naidu

Editing: Varma Stunts: Vijayan

Producer: KS Rama Rao

Story, Screenplay, Dialogues & Direction: Puri Jagan

Released on: 22 May 2008
Review:
Story
: Bujji (Prabhas) and Chitti (Trisha) are best buddies during their childhood. At the age of 11, Chitti develops some differences with Bujji and says that she will not meet him for the next 12 years. Bujji packs his bags and runaways to Chennai. He returns to AP after 12 years in search of Chitti. The rest of the story is all about how they meet each other. Artists Performance:

Prabhas: Prabhas is excellent in the role of Bujjigadu. The complete credit of Prabhas should go to Puri Jagan for weaving around his character to suit the strengths of Prabhas. Prabhas was little weak of his dialogue delivery in his earlier films. Puri Jagan used Godavari districts slang to write his dialogues for Prabhas and he uttered in an entertaining way. He also developed six-pack and looks stunning on the screen. The Bujjigadu character elevates the mass qualities of Prabhas and makes him go closer to the masses with this film.

Others:

Mohan Babu is very good in the role of heroine's brother. But a man of his stature need not do such supporting roles as his role in this film does not have much weight. Trisha is cute and she looks very beautiful. Sanjana is alright as the sister of heroine. Sunil scores high in the comedy department. MS Narayana entertains in the drunkard role. The separate comedy thread written for Ali is not up to the mark. Kota is good as villain. Subbaraju is impressive though he keeps repeating such roles. Jayaprakash Reddy, Brahmaji and Raja Ravindra are adequate. The artists who did the role of kids in the beginning of the film are pretty good. Mumaith Khan did an item song.

Technical Departments:
Story - screenplay - direction: The story of the film is simple. The screenplay is adequate though there are dragging moments in the second half. The heroine will not come to know that Prabhas is her Bujjigadu till the end of film. It is difficult to write screenplay for such scripts. Puri Jagan gets lots of credits for his writing in this film. The characterization of Prabhas is excellent and dialogues written to him are witty. Though it is a love story, the director has given the look of action film to it. Hence, people may find it little shocking to see Prabhas and Mohan Babu becoming friends instead of waging a war. Puri Jagan simplified certain things like hero escaping from a jail.
Other departments: Puri Jagan steals the show as a dialogue writer. His punches and one-liners written for Prabhas are worth commending. Cinematography by Shyam K Naidu is an asset. Music by Sandeep Chowta appears good on the screen. The picturization of the songs are good. The ways he edited the second song with split screens is very impressive. The style of showing various animals in a song of second half is also creative. There are some glitches in editing of scenes as some scenes end abruptly. Fights are pretty good. Making standards by Creative Commercials are excellent
Analysis: First half of the film is good and entertaining. The second half tempo is little down. The plus points of the film are Prabhas characterization and Puri Jagan's writing. The negative points are excessive fights, extended climax fight and a few silly scenes (reason behind kids not talking for 12 years and escape from jail). Prabhas's characterization stands out in the film. This film is definitely worth a look for Prabhas's characterization.

Trisha is in Shock?

Trisha- the cute girl of AMAV and Krishna looked some what different in Bujjigadu and Tamil film Kurvi.
Irrespective of the fate of the films, Trisha couldn't impress the audiences, not even her fans. The fans of Trisha are very much disappointed with make up Trisha in the film Bujjigadu. It is heard that Trisha is in Shock and started damage control efforts.
It is rumored that Trisha has suddenly reduced her remuneration to divert the attention of producers and directors from this discussion.
We have to wait and see, how Sreenu Vytal is going to show Trisha in King opposite Nag.

Trisha going great in tollywood

Trisha seems to have her eyes set firmly on Tollywood.
A look at the films she has on hand will give you an idea of her popularity. Having just completed shooting for director Puri Jagannath directed Bujjigadu– Made in Chennai , she is set to start work on Nagarjuna’s next film King, to be directed by Sreenu Vaitla. That’s not all.
The dusky actress has been signed up to play the lead opposite NTR in his next film to be directed by VV Vinayak, who had earlier cast her in Krishna, the biggest hit of the year so far. With such high profile projects on hand Trisha is certainly sitting pretty. Way to go!

Kantri pushed bujjigadu made in chennai back !

Bujjigadu- made in Chennai- the film directed by Poori Jagannath with Prabhas and Trisha is going for Censor certificate on 15th May. The film was scheduled to release on 16th of May.
But Creative Commercials Rama Rao postponed release by a week days, though the film is ready by 15th May. Now the film will be released on 22nd of May.
The reason;- NTRjr promised to do a film for KS Rama Rao. And Kantri is doing well at the box office. KS Rama Rao doesn’t want his film Bujjigadu to compete with Kantri and spoil Kantri’s business and at the same time his Bujjigadu business at the box office. So KS Rama Rao decided to release the film on 22nd May.
So Kantri pushed Bujjigadu from 16th May to 22nd May.
