Nayanatara has been roped in to play the main heroine role in Balakrishna’s forthcoming Sinha. The film already has Sneha Ullal and Namita as female lead and they have already been participating in the film’s shoot. And now Nayanatara, who was also approached for another film with Balayya earlier, has stepped in as main lead. Nayana who has just completed the shoot of NTR’s Adurs, initially dodged on to accept the film, but finally relented as she was paid a bomb. On Friday, she officially signed on the dotted line and will join the movie’s shoot shortly. Sinha is being directed by Boyapati Srinivas and produced by Parachuri Kiriti.
One of the leading actresses in Southern Film Industry, Nayantara has celebrated her birthday in a special way this year. ‘Adurs’ unit gave a surprise to her by celebrating her birthday on the sets in Annapurna Studios. The busy actress could not take leave as the film is in its final stage of shooting. Apart from ‘Adurs’, Nayantara signed two films, one each in Malayalam and Tamil. The actress started her film career with a Malayalam film titled ‘Manassinakkare’ in 2003 and won Asianet award for Best Female Debut Face of the year. She got introduced to Tamil industry through Sarath Kumar starrer ‘Ayya’ in 2003 and then shot to fame with Rajinikanth’s sensational hit film ‘Chandramukhi’. And in 2005 she won the hearts of Andhra audience through Venkatesh starrer ‘Lakshmi’. She has so far did 30 films altogether in three languages.

NTR Vinayak third film Adhurs audio will be releasing on Nov 20. The movie is slated for December 18th release. The film will be definitely a feast for NTR fans. The movie will be releasing in 1000 theaters to surpass the Magadheera. It is a comedy based action entertainer with all commercial elements. Nayanatara and sheela are providing the required glamour quotient. 
It’s Telugu version Salute however has been cleared with an ‘A’ certificate, which is the norm for all action movies produced in Tollywood.
Among the cuts given by the censors, the steamy song Chellame, Chellame… picturised on Vishal and Nayanthara has been trimmed. Some dialogue muting is also there.
However Vishal is happy that the film has been censored and is now ready for release on August 14. Concludes a relieved Vishal: “I’m very happy and contended the way the film has shaped out. The censors have been nice and they also acknowledged the fact that the film has a powerful message to convey.”
With high expectations and the pre-publicity blitzkrieg, he hopes that the film would take huge openings. Already 700 prints for both Tamil and Telugu versions are earmarked. This is the highest number of prints for a young hero in South India and also a record.
Rajinikanth appears twenty minutes after the movie begins. And remains through the length of the film, though not in every single frame. In all he appears for a total of 60 minutes.And in 3 rocking songs.
Story :Balakrishna(Jagapathi babu) is a poor barber who leads a miserable life in Sirisilla with wife Sridevi (Meena) & 3 children.His Childhood friend Ashok kumar(Rajinikanth) is now a Superstar.Ashok kumar& his film crew comes to Sirisilla for a filmshooting.So the whole village,including his family,converges around Balakrishna seeking his favour for a meeting with the Superstar. Balakrishna is reluctant to approach the star thinking that Ashok kumar may have forgotten his lowly friend in these intervening years.Does the rich n famous Superstar remember his childhood buddy?does he values friendship ? is the rest of the story.
HighLights :For many of us who have been wondering a lot about Rajini’s political ambitions and his sojourns into the Himalayas, he answers us all in kathanayakudu with such wit and tact that it will silence us from speculating anymore!
As in Chandramuki, where the Superstar gave equal screen presence to Prabhu, Vadivelu and Joythika, here, in kathanayakudu, he has given importance to other actors sharing the screen with him.
The climax, with jagapati babu and Rajini, is sure to melt hearts!
Nayantara simply sizzles effortlessly, proving why she is the numero uno. Arivind Krishna’s camera work is prefect, matching the mood of the movie . This is a Rajni movie, and yet it is also something completely different! Rajni’s style here as he plays himself reaches a new high.

When a section of the press voiced this to the director of the film Rajashekar, during a press meet held recently, he categorically denied forcing Nayantara into appearing sexy in the film.
'The story needed the female lead to be glamorous and I had made this point very clear when I narrated the story to her' said Rajashekar.
Nayantara plays a daring television journalist in the film and her relationship with a top cop adds on the fuel to her investigation as well as the police department's hunt for the baddies.
'Nayantara is a thorough professional and took it upon herself to do justice to the role' Rajashekar added.
The film is slated for release on August 15 as 'Sathyam' in Tamil and 'Salute' in Telugu. What started as a four-Crore budget went on to a whopping cost of 23 Crores. About 600 prints are being made available for the release.
Nayanatara after bikini show is now into an erotic song, a very sizzling and steamy song with Vishal in flick Salute, this is the first time this hot beauty is performing so erotic on silver screen. No wonder then that she has become so much dear in Tamilnadu.
The latest buzz is that Soundarya, daughter of Rajinikanth, will be seen in a scene, or rather a song, in the film. The song Cinema Cinema… has been filmed with many film personalities, technicians, theatres, theatre owners and the star's fans. And the director seems to have persuaded Soundarya to star in the song.
In fact, all those associated with Kathanayakudu, including music director G.V. Prakash, have made a guest appearance in this song. It is learnt that Soundarya was roped in for the song because her company Ocher Studios happens to be the graphic designers for Kathanayakudu.
