Director S S Rajamouli seems to have fondness towards some of the super hit old numbers. Soon after using remix of ‘Olamma Tikkaregindi ..’ from Yamagola into his Yamadonga, he is incorporating another old song. ‘Bangaru Kodipetta ..’ the super hit song from megastar Chiranjeevi’s Gharanamogudu is being used in its newer version for his current film with megastar’s son Ram Charan Teja.
The original as well as the new song is composed by M M Keeravani. The song will be shot in Vizag in a few days.

The Numero Uno item bomb of Tollywood Mumait Khan has been roped in to do this hit song. The song will be shot Ram Charan and Mumait at the same shipyard locations in Vizag. Prem Rakshi choreographs it.

Producer humiliates pregnant Malavika

The five-month pregnant Malavika was humiliated on the sets of a Tamil film - Karthikai by its producer M.Anjaneya. When she refused to do a song, which involved a lot of body movements, the producer barged into her caravan and started to do a body search on her to find out whether she is pregnant!
The incident happened in a studio in Hyderabad.
The shooting of Karthikai had started much before Malavika had conceived.
Says the actress: "I agreed to do complete the shoot, as my role was interesting. Suddenly out of the blue they wanted me to do a song standing on a swing. How could I do that? Later the producer barged into my caravan and demanded an explanation. I told him that my belly was showing, and he came forward and felt my stomach, that was a little too much."

Chiru’s fans protest Mareppa’s remark

Minister Mareppa’s remarks against Chiranjeevi came in sharp criticism. Megastar’s fans condemned the remarks made by Minister for Marketing. Yesterday, Mareepa, in usual style, accused Chiranjeevi of selling blood through Blood Bank and also said that Chiru has never done any thing for public.
Fans demanded an apology from Mareppa. In Eluru, Chiranjeevi fans staged today (June 21) a rasta rook and also burnt the effigy of Mareppa.
“He will bear the consequences if the remarks came on behalf of his party,” fans protested.

Good Luck to Sayali Bhagat

Sayali Bhagat’s debut film The Train was released in June last year; and her next film Good Luck will be arriving this July.
She was also seen in an item number for Halla Bol and though her song was promoted aggressively on the music channels, the film itself sank without any trace ar the box office.

Mallika Sherawat and Hard Kaur in sizzling number

Mallika Sherawat and Hard Kaur, the British-Indian Bhangra-pop singer, will swing together for the song Main Talli Ho Gayi in the mad, mad comedy film Ugly Aur Pagli, which is a Pritish Nandy production. The film is being made in the wake of the success of Pyaar Ke Side Effects.
A situation in Ugly Aur Pagli requires Mallika Sherawat to get drunk on a dance floor with Ranvir Shorey, her male lead in the film, giving her company. As she dances to Anu Malik’s beats of Main Talli Ho Gayi, Hard Kaur too joins in the fun and sings in her characteristic style.
This new age club song has Hard Kaur coming up with her English-Punjabi rendition, which sets the dance on fire. Then Mika Singh joins soon along with Anmol Malik to make a dhol dhamaal dhamaka.

Minister attacks Chiru

The minister for Marketing, Mareppa came out with some serious allegations against Chiranjeevi. Mareppa said that all this talk of Chiranjeevi coming into politics for serving the poor was mere eyewash. The minister asked how much money Chiranjeevi has actually spent for the poor all these years.
Chiranjeevi made millions and millions all these years by acting in films and built up a big fortune. Now he is trying to project an image as a champion of the poor.
Mareppa also made some serious allegations about Chiranjeevi Blood Bank as well. He said that while they were collecting blood free of cost from donors, they were selling it for 1,200 hundred rupees.

Kajal escaped with minor injuries

Kajal Agarwal who was to celebrate her birthday day on June 19th, met with an accident during the shooting of a Tamil film. The hero of the film Vinay threw a knife at her as per the scene’s demand, which hit Kajal accidentally on her head. But she escaped with minor injuries. Much to the surprise of everyone, she, after the first-aid, immediately went into the sets. What a commitment!

Vijayashanti in trouble due to bounced cheque

The Central Power Distribution Company Limited (CPDCL) sent a notice to actress and president of Talli Telangana Party (TTP), Vijayashanti, in a cheque bounce case on Tuesday.
Sources say that Vijayashanti issued a cheque for Rs 25,431 to the electricity board in regard to the electricity bill which she owed for her rented plot in Banjara Hills. Since the cheque she issued bounced, CPDCL filed a case against her and thus she was served a notice. According to the notice sent, if she does not pay the amount within a month, she may have to face the criminal prosecution.

Rajnikanth kathanayakudu to release on on july 25th

Finally the word is out. It‘s official and confirmed. Rajinikanth‘s much-awaited ‘Kathanayakudu’, a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Katha Parayumbol’, will hit the screens on 25 July.
Addressing media persons in Chennai on Wednesday, director P Vasu said, ‘the shooting is complete and dubbing is going on right now. Re-recording will commence from Monday‘.
The story is about two childhood friends who go different ways in their life as they grow up into adulthood. One ends up a poor barber struggling to make both ends meet and the other as a ‘superstar‘ in the movies. What happens when the two meet after all those years holds the crux, he said.
Jagapathy Babu plays the poor barber and needless to say Rajini plays the superstar. Prabhu, Nayantara, Meena, Sneha and Kushboo are also in the cast.
Produced jointly by K Balachander‘s Kavithalaya Films and M P Vijayakumar‘s Seven Arts Films, ‘Kathanayakudu’ has cinematography by Aravindh Krishna and musical score by G V Prakash.According to Vasu, ‘the audio rights of ‘Kathanayakudu’ have been lapped up by Big Music for Rs 2.25 crore, while Pyramid Saimira has acquired the movie‘s distribution rights for a huge sum.‘
Plans are on to release the audio of ‘Kathanayakudu’ on 30 June. A grand function will be held in Chennai in which popular South Indian directors would take part.
The movie was shot in Hyderabad Ramoji Rao Film Studio, exotic locales of Pollachi, Udumalpet and interior parts of Kerala.
Adds Vasu, ‘ Rajinikanth‘s contribution to the movie is immense. He was very co-operative. We managed to complete the shooting of both ‘Kuselan’ and ‘Kathanayakudu’ in Telugu in just 82 days. Pasupathi plays the character played by Jagapathy Babu in the Tamil version. Vadivelu is also in the cast in the Tamil version‘.
‘G V Prakash‘s music is a major highlight of the movie. The 22-year-old boy has come up with stunning music and Rajinikanth himself appreciated him. So is Aravindh Krishna‘s cinematography‘.
Vasu says, ‘the movie has been completed so early thanks to my producers Kavithalaya and Seven Arts Vijayakumar.‘

Venkatesh starrar Chintakayala Ravi has been getting shot in USA for the last 15 days. Producer Nallamalapu Srinivas said that they continue shooting in America till 20th of his month and latter the unit will shift too Hyderabad, Vizag and Rajahmundry for canning the third schedule.The producer added that they are canning two songs one on Venkatesh and Anushka and the other one on Venkatesh and Mamatha Mohan Dass with dance master Raju Sundaram. Director Yogi of Oka Raju Okara Rani is directing this flick.

Story:

Chandu (Ram) is studying his final year engineering at Bellary. He is son of Tanikella Bharani who is brother of Nazar. Nazar is the head of united family having 3 brothers and a sister Rajitha. Chandu helps to elope his cousin who is daughter of Chandramohan and Rajitha. This irritates Nazar's family and they don't want to see his face. Chandu returns back to Bellary and finishes his engineering. One of Chandu's friend fall in love and the lover's father arranges her marriage with another person. This friend asks Chandu to help him in his marriage.Chandu decides to bring the bridegroom from the marriage hall but Chandu's gang mistakenly went to another marriage hall and helps Genelia to escape out of that marriage. Genelia is a daughter of factionist and doesn't want to have marriage. After some interesting chases and action sequences Chandu helps her from out of danger and asks her to enter into his family as an orphan sent by their family friend. There she wins the heart of the family and the family decides to accept her as their family member and want to tie her knot with Chandu. Here the story enters into an interesting situation. Genelia is identified by her father's gang and they took her to their place. We need to watch the rest of the movie to know how Chandu wins over these action groups and wins the heart of Genelia.

Artists Performance:

Ready has perfect casting. Ram is very natural, charming and elegant. He did both action sequences and the comedy scenes very well. Genelia steals the show with her excellent performance. She is like an angel with lot of purity. Nazar is at his best in this role that demands extraordinary performance. Sunil has done a superb comedy role. His expressions as mada type character is so hillareous. Kota is very good in his role. Comedy by M.S.Narayana and Brhmanandam is extraordinary.

Technical Departments:

Srinu Vytla proved him self that he can handle both action and comedy very well. Dailogues by Gopi-Mohan and Kona Venkat are funny and catchy. There is lot of freshness in the film. Screenplay of the film is tight. Direction is exceptionally good. Music by Devisri Prasad is very good and the picturization of the second song "Ayyo ayyo daanayya" is very good. Production values by Sravanthi movies is so rich. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore did a marvellous job in delivering the movie on time by coordinating many charactor artists and we can expect this film can be another Nuvve Kavali for Sravanthi Banner. Camera by Hari Anumolu and Editing by Srikar Prasad are commendable.

The songs in 'Somberi' directed by writer turned director Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao, produced by Yarramilli Venkat Rao on the banner of Roshan Films with Ali, Ruksha and Neha Pendse in the lead, were screened to the media at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad recently.Presenter says, 'We brought out a very good entertainer and at the same time we are giving a very good message to the society. It is the story of a youth, who was very lazy in nature. However, he goes to Dubai on some work. Did he make all those who were in Dubai very lazy fellows like him, or did that lazy fellow became active had to be seen on the screen.For the first time, singer Mano scored music for the film. The climax of the film would remain a highlight of the flick. The movie had all kind of novelty which they expect.Ali did complete justice to his role. Our film had all the qualities that a good film should have.' Ali says, 'Generally people expect good comedy in my films and the film too have good amount of entertainment but it was limited to the reasonable extent.' Producer Yarramilli Venkat Rao says, 'The film had all kinds of elements including story, comedy, music, besides a good message. Great music director like AR Rahman unveiled the audio of our film.' Kulesan audio rights sold for record price

The mere name of superstar Rajinikanth sells. The audio rights of Kuselan, has been snapped by Big Music, an Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group company for a new record high of Rs 2.25 crore! Remember Rajini is only making a special appearance in the film. The film has music by G V Prakash.According to industry sources, the huge price is only because of the magic of Rajinikanth and nothing else. Umesh Pai of Big Music says, "Kuselan has five songs, with a Daler Mehendi number being the highlight. The others who have rendered their voice for the album include Shankar Mahadevan, Kailash Kher, Shriya Ghosal and Hariharan." The audio is likely to be launched on June 30 in Chennai.

Abishek wants hrithik in sarkar 3

Will Sarkar 3 happen? At the moment, no one knows the answer to this, perhaps not even Ramgopal Verma. But the way Sarkar Raj finishes a sequel seems a distinct and perhaps inevitable possibility. So, with Abhishek out of the picture, leaving Big B to do the job of political king maker once again, what would Sarkar3 be made of? Some would feel that Aishwarya may be the key figure apart from Amitabh in Sarkar 3.But Abhishek has a different opinion. In an interview he was quoted saying that he would like to see Hrithik in Sarkar 3 if and when it happens. If you have seen Sarkar (the first part) you might know that Subhash Naghre (Big B’s) character had two sons, one Abhishekh and the other played by Kay Kay Menon. Kay Kay Menon’s character had a son (Chikoo) who does not appear in Sarkar Raj.However at the end of the movie Amitabh does ask his wife to call Chikoo back immediately. That might be where the next Sarkar begins and the way Abhishek sees it, Hrithik would be an exciting choice.
