Brahmanandam Contests From Attili in 2009


Star Comedian Brahmanandam may contest from Attili Assembly Constituency in West Godavari in 2009 elections on Chiranjeevi's Party ticket. He has expressed his wish to the Mega Star Chiranjeevi.He openly extended his support to Chiranjeevi's proposed political outfit a few weeks ago. This political desire crept into his mind, when he was looked down by a couple of fellow comedians on sets. Among the two one was a legislator and the other was a minister.They were none other than Kota Srinivasarao and Babu Mohan. Brahamanandam is now waiting for his turn to hit back.

Parugu collected Rs.21Crs in three weeks


Allu Arjun's Parugu with Dil Raju and Bommarillu Bhaskar has completed 3 weeks run and Dil Raju organized a press meet to share the success of the film with journalists today at his Jubilee Hills office.
Dil Raju said 'The film has collected Rs21 crores share in the three weeks run and public is receiving the film very well. We made this film keeping Youth and Family audiences and we succeeded in taking the film to the hearts of those sections of audiences'.

Shankar imports Computers from USA for Robot


The Shankar – Rajinikanth magnum opus, Robot, has begun groundwork work and research. With director Shankar importing computers from America that will be employed for the special effects in the movie, Robot is more or less underway
Keeping in mind the Internet-sneaking-of-Sivaji-images that remained unsolved despite the tight security arrangements in place during Sivaji’s shoots, Shankar has left no stones unturned this time around to make sure that the computers are tucked away secretively in a Gemini lab. Guarded by security personnel, access to the hall is restricted to the very few kingpins associated with the movie.
Rajinikanth is busy with his extended cameo for Kucheludu and an announcement about Robot’s commencement is expected to be out soon.

Dasavataram with 1000 prints releases on June 6


With each passing day, expectations about Dasavataram, Kamal's 10-getup movie with Rs. 100 crore budget, are touching the skies. Produced by Oscar Ravichandran, the film was originally scheduled to be releasing in April last week. However, after repeated shuttling of the release date, the audio was released last month with Jackie Chan as the chief guest. Latest buzz is that the film will be hitting the marquee on June 6th all over the world. The film is releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Bojpuri. Its Japanese and Chinese dubbed versions are on the anvil, based on the suggestion of Jackie Chan himself. As of Andhra Pradesh business, it is expected that the film might rake in a whopping Rs. 20 Crore, one fifth of the budget. Siri Media of Dasari Narayana Rao is said to have grabbed the Nizam rights for Rs. 6.5 Crore.

More importantly she had seen Sarkar and knew that the Ramu liked understated power.So she wanted her look should be very subtle but very powerful. Robot New hair style for Rajinikanth


Rajini Kanth is busy in new sporting hair style for the film 'Robot'. Shankar is directing the film. The film is produced by Eros International and Ayangaran International collectively. It is not often that a man of Ashok Amritraj's stature goes out of his way to shower praises. But when it comes to the heroine of his forthcoming film The Other End of the Line, Shriya Saran, who stars opposite the dashing Jesse Metcalfe of Desperate Housewivesfame, Amritraj has only good things to say. When we caught up with Amritraj recently, he said, "Shriya will surprise everyone with her wonderful performance. The camera absolutely loves her." Shriya, too, says that the production has helped her get the best out. "They wouldn't let me use glycerine. I had to shed real tears, can you believe that?" Well, as long as the producers don't have to shed tears and can go smiling all the way to the bank, those tears would be worth all the effort.

Mohan Babu's son in Yeleti's next


Manchu Manoj Kumar, Mohan Babu"s younger son, is now getting ready to act in director Chandrashekar Yeleti's new film. The film will starting regular shooting schedules in June. Mahesh Shankar who scored the music for the movie, Vennela is the music director.Yeleti had earlier directed films like Aithe and Anukokunda Oka Roju. He also made the Okkadunnadu with Gopichand as hero. Yeleti had conducted a talent search for actors for his film and screened hundreds of applicants. But he could not find the right person to play the hero in his film. Yeleti was impressed with Manoj after he watched the trailer of Nenu Meeku Telusa.

Trisha going great in tollywood


Trisha seems to have her eyes set firmly on Tollywood.
A look at the films she has on hand will give you an idea of her popularity. Having just completed shooting for director Puri Jagannath directed Bujjigadu– Made in Chennai , she is set to start work on Nagarjuna’s next film King, to be directed by Sreenu Vaitla. That’s not all.
The dusky actress has been signed up to play the lead opposite NTR in his next film to be directed by VV Vinayak, who had earlier cast her in Krishna, the biggest hit of the year so far. With such high profile projects on hand Trisha is certainly sitting pretty. Way to go!

Actress Suhani Bagged another film


Her debut film Sawal turned out to be a flop show but the erstwhile child artiste, SUHANI, walked away with all the accolades for her performance. The actress is hopeful that her second venture, Krishi, will help her register her maiden BO success.
"It feels very flattering to have people come up to me and say nice things about my work. I have a great role in Krishi and am very confident that the film will be appreciated by the audience," says Suhani. The film is ready for release but that‘s not all.
Director KS Nageswararao has signed up Suhani for a new film. Apparently the actress has been getting many offers to act in Tamil films as well, but she is focused on Telugu ventures for the moment. Things are definitely looking bright for this college going actress.

Sequel to Arya from Allu Arjun & Sukumar


Dil Raju made the film Arya with Bunny and Sukumar. That film was a big hit at the box office.
Now Sukumar is getting ready to make the sequel to his Arya. Allu Arjun will be the hero in this sequel. Chatrapthi Sivaji and Jagadam producer Aditya are jointly producing this sequel.
Dil Raju has bought the Nizam rights of this film.
