Rajasekhar meera jasmine brother sister movie gorintaku releasing soon

The film 'Gorintaku' based on brother-sister sentiment, with Rajasekhar playing the brother and Meera Jasmine as sister, is all set for release during the second half of May.

Directed by VR Pratap, presented by RB Choudary and produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain on the banner of Mega Super Good Movies, the film had Arthi Agarwal in the female lead.

Producers say, 'Almost all the films that came on the Telugu screen with brother-sister sentiment were hits. We are also confident that our film 'Gorintaku' would also emerge winner.'

Presenter of the film RB Choudary says, 'Rajasekhar's earlier film 'Simharasi' was a big hit on our banner. We are sure that this film would repeat the history. SA Rajkumar scored music and there was a very good response for the audio from the audiences. We expect the same positive response to the film as well.'

Director VR Pratap says, 'We remade a Kannada film 'Anna Thangi' into Telugu. We made certain changes to suit the Telugu nativity. I am confident that the film would earn me good name on the lines of my earlier hit film, 'Nuvvu Vastavani' with Nagarjuna as hero.'

It is learnt that Rajasekhar is playing dual roles as father and son. However, the father's role would last only for a few minutes.

Genelia says love is life

She’s the chirpy extrovert who just can’t stop talking nineteen to the dozen in the recent hit Santhosh Subramaniam. Actress Genelia who played the garrulous Hasini in the film seems as bubbly and active in real life too. “There is some amount of madness in everyone. If we are always serious in life, there’s no charm in it,” is her take. Success tastes sweet...

So how does it feel to taste success in Tamil? “It feels awesome. I was wondering whether I would be able to pull off the role for the second time since I acted in the original Telugu version Bommarillu as well. But I am glad with the results,” she says. “Only someone with true passion for this script could have done this remake and Raja and Ravi have that dedication. I admire them for that.”

Genelia became a known face with Boys in Tamil after which Sachin and Chennai Kadhal followed but didn't do much for her career. We quiz her about this and she says, “I never got any negative feedback about my acting or the way I was presented. So that gives me a motivation to continue as a responsible artiste.”

She is all praise for director M Raja and editor Mohan who did not consider her unlucky and had no doubts that she would do justice to the role. “It’s good to see filmmakers like them who believe in taking responsibility for their work and do not blame the heroines if a film flops.”

Busy bee...
Genelia is busy with three Hindi films, including Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na starring Aamir Khan's nephew Imran Khan and Priyadarshan's Mere Baap Pehle Aap. She also has one Telugu and one Kannada film on hand. With so much going for her, is she game for Tamil cinema? Says she,“Of course, I want to do Tamil films. I want to do scripts that suit me.” Glamour is okay with Genelia as long as it is not vulgar. “I am not looking at heroine oriented roles. As long as I have an important presence in the film, even for five minutes, it’s ok,” she shrugs.

So what is her take on love? Does she have someone special in her life right now? “Love is life!” she smiles. “We love our parents, family and friends. But I have no one special in my life right now. I am single and enjoying it very much!” she grins.

And how can she best be described?
“I am a very positive person. Failure is the reason to prove myself. It keeps me on the move,” she concludes.

The only back drop in the movie is It has Too many fights but again they were convincing and well picturised Generally audions will really feel that director could have concentrated on comedy a bit more.Though they are very few seans in comedy they were really good mainly Singapore episode, and comedy track of Suneel, Ali, krishna baghavan and Brahmanandam.NTR is good looking &his costumes were very good.

The movie is good to watch and we can expect 100% returns for what we have invested on this movie in the form of entertainment.

2 directors 2 music directors for raviteja anushka film

Shooting of Raviteja‘s latest flick, produced by D Suresh Babu on the banner of Suresh Productions is progressing smoothly.
It may be mentioned here that the shooting was delayed due to the unfortunate death of a junior artiste due to drowning in Godavari during the film shooting.
The film is being directed by Udayashankar of ‘Kalisundam Raa‘ fame. Like ‘Krishnavamsi‘ assisting in dance direction for some of the films, it is learnt that Ravibabu had come forward to direct some songs in this film.
It may be mentioned here that the songs on Ravibabu‘s films like ‘Allari‘ are distinct from routine.
Likewise, Radhakrishnan scored tunes for the lyrics, while Manisharma is providing the background score.
The film is evoking good expectations, with a massive combination of two directors, to music directors, big banner and successful hero

No hungama in Nag‘s new film launch

But who’s to tell that to S Sreesanth, the angry young man of cricket, who has been pretty vocal about his route to stardom via the silver screen? According to a source, Sreesanth is about to sign a film. The buzz is that he will be playing the lead in a Telugu project (eat your heart out, Bollywood) with four actresses in it, including a top South Indian star. The story is about a cricketer who turns into a star. The angry young man of cricket, Sreesanth, for whom this script might have been written, should be most comfortable with his debut. The producer has asked the Team India paceman, who is also part of the Preity Zinta’s Mohali team, for just 15 days to shoot his scenes. Sreesanth’s response is awaited. The star player, notorious for doing a jig on the field each time he claims a wicket, should be a treat to watch on screen. According to the source, the news of the Telugu film was broken by Sreesanth himself. “He drove his new SUV onto the sets of an ad film that M S Dhoni and Ishant Sharma were shooting and took his teammates for a long drive. When they got back, Sreesanth was heard telling them how excited he is about the film. He also told them that he would be signing the film very soon,” added the source.

The NVNV hero Siddhartha has signed two films right now in Telugu. Ata with MS Raju was his last Telugu film. Bommarillu was his biggest hit in Tollywood.
One film is with Producer Nallamlupu Bujju, Kishore (Dolly) , a new director is making debut with this film. This film will go on floors very soon.

Subhash K. Jha: Zayed Khan, the son of actor-director Sanjay Khan, says he could have ended up becoming a spoilt star son if it hadn’t been for Abhishek Bachchan.
“Yeah, I guess I could’ve become that horrific entity known as the pampered and spoilt brat. But I held on. I always look at Abhishek (Bachchan)’s example to see how tough things can be for a kid from a film family,” Zayed told IANS.
Zayed, who was seen as Shah Rukh Khan’s prankster younger brother in “Main Hoon Na”, also holds brother-in-law Hrithik Roshan in high esteem. “I guess this penchant to prove a point runs in my family. Look at Duggu (Hrithik). He has been quite a portrait of defiant self-improvement.”
So is Zayed’s brother-in-law a source of inspiration too?
“Not in any direct way. Not that I take any tips from him or anything. But, yes, we are a close-knit family. Duggu and I go back a long way. In fact, we knew each other before he got to know my sister Susanne.”
Was there any sense of brotherly possessiveness when Susanne announced her decision to marry Hrithik?
“Not at all. In fact, I’ve been protected and fussed over by my sisters all my life. They still continue to fuss over me. Now, besides my mom and sister, there’s another woman, my wife, to mollycoddle me.”
In an industry where passing the buck is a favourite pastime, Zayed’s endearing candour comes as a pleasant surprise.
“Last year, I was down and bed-ridden for months on-end because of a slipped disc. ‘Speed’ did get delayed because of me.
“Maybe I subconsciously chose Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Cash’ and Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Speed’ because they required me to exert myself physically. After being confined in bed and getting all the time to retrospect, I wanted to return with stuff that would prove I was as physically fit as I used to be before the bad back.”

Ash wants to go through Rajini's experience

Is she or not? There have been many speculations about Aishwarya's presence in Shankar-Rajinikanth's Robot. Two days back there were rumors that Aish may not do Shankar's Robot. But her recent interview says that she is doing Robot and she is doing it because of Rajinikanth. "I want to work with Rajni sir, yaar. He is phenomenal. Everyone speaks of this experience. I'll actually go through the experience. It's very important for me to come away with something from my films since I give so much," said Ash in an interview. "It's a total Rajni-Shankar styled entertainer. There's no logic as to why I agreed to do it beyond the urge to work with Rajnikanth. Shankar and Rajni sir have approached me for so many films, it's embarrassing. Ever since we did Jeans together Shankar has approached me for all his films except Boys. Rajni sir, being the senior that he is, has shown no egoistic traits in approaching me for his last four-five films. And my refusal to do his films was never misconstrued by him. I admire him for that. It speaks volumes for his seniority and his calibre as a human being to never take offence to my no," she added. When asked about the story of the film, "It is hard to define. But technically it will take cinema to another level. I can only say I'll come away enriched. It's very important for me to come away with something from my films since I give so much. The much sought after Aishwarya Rai, who has been turning down movies for more than just lack of time, says she accepted Rajnikanth starrer Robot because she just wanted opposite him." she said.

Mallika sherawat turn now after shriya

Tamil brothers seem to be very irritable when comes to the exposing of heroines in public. They have battered Shriya blue and back with verbal bombardment after seeing her wearing a skimpy gown in one of the recent film functions.

So you have finally become one of Bollywood's highest paid actors by bagging a 6 crore deal with Studio 18?

I'm happy that my talent is being recognized. I can't talk about it right now, but yes the figures are close to it.

6 Crore for one film, that's quite a lot of money?

No, no, it's not for one film, but for two films. I'm not in a position to discuss any further on this.

So finally you are out of Salman's shadow?

Now this is weird. Where did it come from (looking irritated)?

You really think you deserve that much money?

Why not? I ended last year with 4 big hits, Namaste London, Apne, Partner and Welcome. And the 4 films made money. So career wise, it's been an extremely fulfilling year for me.

And personally?

Doing well as well. I have taken care of my family and they are happy for me.

What about marriage?

You guys will have to wait for that. I have just started my career and can't afford to give up everything. My first priority is to provide financial security to my family. I have to make them financially secure before marrying someone.

What about the recent news that Salman slapped you?

That's really ridiculous. It was some dirty person's figment of imagination. I have never really discussed my personal life, but enough is enough. I have always believed what personal is personal. But this is too much. The story that has appeared is utter rubbish and fabricated. I suspect that it's been spread by vested interest with ulterior motives. I would like to repeat that nothing of this sort has happened. Normally I don't like to clarify but sometimes one has to take a stand.

Your next release is Race. Heard that you have done some bold scenes?

It's an action thriller. I had lots of fun shooting for the film. Race is extremely slick and has got an international look. It was so special shooting for Race. I am just looking forward to it.

What's on the pipeline?

Race, Singh Is Kingg, Main Yuvraj, and two untitled films with Yashraj films.

Parvati melton in mahesh babu new film varudu

The formal Pooja of Mahesh Babu's next film likely to be titled as Varudu was held on 30th April at Padmalaya Studios. Thrivikram Srenivas is the director.
Parvathi Melton who played a good role in Jalsa of Trivikram has bagged another big film Varudu wuth Mahesh Babu .

Canning of song is in progress for Raviteja’s latest flick directed by Udayasankar and produced by D Sureshbabu on the banner of Suresh Productions. Anushka is playing the female lead, while Super Star Krishna is playing a key role. KM Radhakrishnan, who gave tunes to ‘Anand, Godavari and Chandamama’ is scoring music for the film. It is learnt that a popular song in ‘Driver Ramudu’ of the late NT Rama Rao, ‘Marumalle Thotakaada Maatiste… Ongole Lock Kaada Aapeste…’ is being remixed for this movie. After the canning of this song, the film unit will leave for abroad to choreograph another song. The producer is making efforts to release the film as a Desara gift.

Bhoomika playing complete male role

People forgot Bhoomika and started calling her ‘Missamma and Anasuya’ as both of them were proved runaway hits. Now, she may acquire a new name called ‘Mallepuvvu’. Though she played in some pre-historic title roles earlier, Samudra had decided to show her as ‘Mallepuvvu’ this time, as he was producing the film in his own direction. It is reliably learnt that Bhoomika would appear in a male attire in this film which is a never before in her career. Her get-up would be completely like a male. It is worth mentioning here that top heroines of yesteryears like Jayalalitha, Vijayalalitha, Vijayanirmala and Vijayashanti played such roles and almost all those films were super hits. Now, it is the turn of Bhoomika to play one such role. Illayaraja is scoring music for the flick. If everything goes well, the film is all set for release in July.
